Sofvac Cleaning Tool

The Sofvac tool is designed to make surface vacuuming safer. A versatile tool that provides three cleaning options, it includes a nozzle and washable nylon cover.

Firstly, assess how robust your item is you wish to clean.
For more robust textiles - slide-on the brush head and vacuum.
For sound items – leave the brush head off and vacuum.
For historic textiles and textiles that require more careful cleaning – place the nylon Sofvac covering over the nozzle, using the Velcro® fastenings to keep it in place.
The nylon net can be regularly washed in a mild detergent like washing up liquid and rinsed
thoroughly.

The Sofvac nozzle is suitable for a 30mm diameter hose. The standard Sofvac net covering
is 140 x 160mm. However, net coverings can be made larger: 170 x 195 mm if you have a
larger nozzle (not supplied) to cover.
